Thistle

Bathgate Thistle Football Club are a Scottish semi professional junior football club and play their home matches at Creamery Park, Bathgate, which has room for 3,000 spectators. They play in the Scottish Junior Football Association’s East Region Super League South.

Nicknamed Thistle, they were formed in 1937 and formed part of a new united community football club involving the town’s youth and amateur sides in February 2013.

In June of 2008, their finest hour came, when then manager Willie Hill, guided them to victory in The Scottish Junior Cup (the greatest prize in the Junior football game). Bathgate won 2-1 against Ayrshire side Cumnock Juniors at Kilmarnock’s Rugby Park, in front of around 7,000 spectators. Their home shirts are blue with a white trim and their away shirts are black with a white trim.

A fully inclusive club they welcome all fans of football to enjoy their time at Creamery Park.
